Two candidates currently are running for the position: Tomás Uitheachair and lightvolger132465.
The number was originally three, however Teachta Dála EpicNoah1358 dropped out Monday evening to support Uitheachair.
The two-time Taoiseach and current foreign minister is making his third bid for leadership, hoping to win the next general election. He is running on the promise of grasping the opportunity of activity and innovating the nation.
A new Teachta Dála, he hopes to make a name for himself being currently a LocalLink bus driver. He wants to run on 'a better Ireland over all', rather than on a single issue.
The results are imminent and expected shortly after 9pm on Tuesday evening.
